Weds Co., Ltd., headquartered in Ota Ward, Tokyo since 1965, is a distributor of automotive parts and accessories, primarily specializing in aluminum and steel wheels for automobiles.
In 1969, Weds introduced Japan's first aluminum forged three-piece wheel, the "Elstar." At the time, aftermarket wheels were not common in Japan, and it was standard practice for cars to have factory wheels. Weds overturned that conventional wisdom.
